Beatles fans, get ready to twist and shout once more!
The Mersey Beatles – the world’s favourite Liverpool-born tribute to the Fab Four – are back with an all-new UK theatre tour for 2025, promising a spectacular celebration of the greatest music ever made.
Since 1999, The Mersey Beatles have been thrilling sold-out audiences across the globe with their authentic, electrifying performances that pay homage to the timeless legacy of John, Paul, George, and Ringo. Now, in 2025, they return with a brand-new two-hour show that marks a major Beatles milestone: the 60th anniversary of the band’s groundbreaking 1965 albums Help! and Rubber Soul, as well as their era-defining Shea Stadium concert – the first-ever stadium rock show in history.
In addition to celebrating the 1965 milestones, The Mersey Beatles will perform hits from every era of The Beatles’ recording career - from the mop-top early years to the psychedelic heights of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and beyond.
Fairfield Halls' history is steeped in Beatlemania. It was here in 1963, at the height of their fame, that The Beatles played two legendary sold-out shows - sharing the bill with comedy legend, Freddie Starr. Now, more than six decades later, fans can return to the same venue to relive the magic.
Just like the real thing, The Mersey Beatles hail from Liverpool where they were the resident Beatles tribute at the legendary Cavern Club for a decade – playing more than 600 times at the world-famous venue.
Since leaving The Cavern, the band – Mark Bloor (John), Steven Howard (Paul), Craig McGown (George) and Brian Ambrose (Ringo) – have toured the world many times over.
Audiences can expect a night of wall-to-wall Beatles classics from every era of the band’s illustrious recording career, delivered with the style, sound, and spirit that only a group of true Liverpool natives can offer.
Speaking on their return to Fairfield Halls, Steven said, “Audiences at our shows always include people who were at The Beatles’ shows back in the day. They are up on their feet dancing from the very first song – just like they were in 1963. So, Croydon… get your dancing shoes on!”
Mark added, “We had an absolute ball when we played Fairfield Halls in 2023 and we cannot wait to return on September 12. It’s going to be another amazing night at this beautiful and historic venue!"
