Get ready to do the Time Warp! This September, The Rocky Horror Show storms the stage at Fairfield Halls – and it’s not just another performance. It’s a milestone: the first full-scale musical to be staged at the venue in five years.
Headlining this electrifying return is acclaimed comedian Nathan Caton, who will play the iconic role of The Narrator. Known for his sharp humour and appearances on Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, and BBC Radio 4’s Can’t Tell Nathan Caton Nothin’, Nathan brings his signature charm and wit to one of theatre’s most legendary roles.
Nathan said:“This is such an exciting moment. Rocky Horror hasn’t been to Croydon for around ten years, and to be part of its return – and in the first big musical at Fairfield Halls in five years – it’s really special. I can’t wait to get on that stage… I’m shivering with antici… pation!”

Directed by Christopher Luscombe, this high-energy production is packed with timeless hits – including “Sweet Transvestite,” “Dammit Janet,” and, of course, “The Time Warp.” With bold performances, unforgettable music, and outrageous fun, Rocky Horror is the perfect show to mark the triumphant return of musical theatre to Fairfield Halls.
Sean Coogan, General Manager of Fairfield Halls, said:“It’s fantastic to welcome such an iconic and much-loved musical back to Fairfield Halls. We haven’t staged a full-scale musical here in nearly five years, so this marks a real turning point. Rocky Horror is the perfect production to reignite the excitement and energy that musicals bring to our stage.”
