One of Britain’s most influential rock musicians, Francis Rossi, is set to return to the road in autumn 2026 with a major UK theatre tour – and South London fans will have the chance to see the legendary Status Quo frontman live on their doorstep.
The Francis Rossi Songbook: Quo – Past, Present, Future Tour will run from September to November 2026, taking in 30 dates across the UK, including a highly anticipated stop in Croydon.
Best known as the co-founder, lead singer and chief songwriter of Status Quo, Rossi will present a carefully curated set celebrating his extraordinary career. The show will feature a hand-picked selection of Quo’s best-loved hits, alongside deeper album tracks rarely heard live, and a brand-new medley currently being prepared exclusively for this tour.
Unlike traditional rock concerts, the Songbook shows offer audiences something more intimate. Fans can expect not only live performances, but also personal stories, reflections and behind-the-scenes insights as Rossi guides them through the past, present and future of his music.
Speaking about the tour, Francis Rossi said: “The pressure is on once more, as I have put together a really packed new show for autumn of this year. I’ll be keeping a whole lot of the hits in the set, of course, but also mixing it up with a couple of curveballs. These theatre shows are a great way to really connect with the audience, and try something a little bit different.”
Rossi will again be joined on stage by Andy Brook, who co-produced Francis’ critically acclaimed 2026 album The Accidental and appeared on the sold-out 2025 Songbook tour. The pairing has been praised for bringing fresh energy to Rossi’s vast catalogue while staying true to its roots.
For the first time, fans will also be able to purchase a strictly limited VIP Soundcheck Experience. This premium ticket includes access to the afternoon soundcheck, an exclusive performance of two songs not featured in the main show, a stage and technical rundown with Rossi’s sound engineer, and one of the best seats in the venue. VIP guests will also receive a signed, limited-edition 7” single, available only as part of the package, along with an exclusive tour lanyard.
The 2026 Songbook tour offers a rare chance to hear classic songs from one of rock’s greatest British songwriters in a more personal setting, alongside unexpected gems and new interpretations drawn from a career spanning more than five decades.
Tickets go on general sale on Friday, 30 January 2026 at 10am via fairfield.co.uk.
Subscribers to the venue’s mailing list will receive exclusive early access from 10am on Thursday, 29 January.
