Baddies, Buttons, and a pop star: Cinderella casting revealed for Fairfield Halls pantomime

News Story

Following last year’s sensational festive hit, pantomime returns once more to Fairfield Halls with another magical production, Cinderella, running from Friday 11 December 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027.

Audiences are invited to step into a spellbinding fairy-tale spectacular, packed with dazzling costumes, breathtaking sets, and all the glitter, laughter and magic that pantomime fans know and love.

This year’s production welcomes comedy duo Luke Attwood and Brandon Nicholson as the delightfully boo-worthy baddies, Melony and Harmony Hard-Up. Having performed together in pantomimes for the past seven years, the pair bring a wealth of experience, razor-sharp comedy, and larger-than-life stage presence.

Known for their drag personas Miss Lola Lush (Brandon) and Lexi Leven (Luke), the duo have entertained audiences across the UK and internationally for nearly a decade. With backgrounds spanning pantomime, cabaret, and musical theatre, their bold humour, quick wit and fabulous flair promise plenty of laugh-out-loud moments for Fairfield Halls audiences this festive season.

Luke and Brandon said:

“We are absolutely thrilled to be bringing our wicked ways to Croydon this Christmas as Melody and Harmony Hard-Up! In our eighth year of causing chaos together on stages across the UK, we are so excited to be working with the team at UK Productions to make audiences laugh and boo at Fairfield Halls. Expect quick wit, outrageous antics, and of course, fabulous costumes!”

Joining Luke and Brandon as leading heartthrob, Prince Charming, is Lee Latchford-Evans from UK pop group phenomenon, Steps. Following the successful UK musical tour of Here & Now, Lee is excited to step onto Fairfield Halls’ stage to charm audiences’ hearts this Christmas for his 16th professional pantomime.

Croydon favourite Charlie Guest returns to Fairfield Halls as ‘Buttons’, with even more side-splitting comedy and mischievous mayhem. With his trademark wit and infectious energy, audiences can expect non-stop fun for the whole family in what promises to be the ultimate festive treat.

Produced by UK Productions Ltd, the acclaimed team behind many of the most spectacular pantomimes, this production is written by award-winning writer Jon Monie. Cinderella combines all the traditions of panto – romance, villains, heroes, and heart – with a dazzling stage set that promises the very best in festive family entertainment.

On behalf of UK Productions, Producer Martin Dodd said;

“We’re delighted that Luke Attwood and Brandon Nicholson will be stepping into some truly ugly shoes as the fabulously frocked, but foul of heart, Melody and Harmony Hard-Up in Cinderella at Fairfield Halls in Croydon. Expect glamour, glitter, and enough attitude to shatter a glass slipper!”

Fairfield Halls is operated by registered charity and social enterprise BH Live in partnership with Croydon Council.

On behalf of BH Live, Steve Turner, Director of Venues, added;

“We’re thrilled to bring Cinderella back to Fairfield Halls for a truly magical festive season so be sure to book early for the best seats in the house. Don’t miss your chance to get closer to the action and experience all the sparkle, laughter and unforgettable moments this spectacular production promises. With a fantastic cast and stunning staging, this is a panto audiences of all ages won’t want to miss. Secure your seats now before they’re gone.”

From boo-worthy baddies to belly laughs and moments of pure enchantment, Cinderella is the perfect festive escape, promising pure magic for families, friends, and fairytale fans of all ages.
