On Sunday 4th October, Regents Opera, Britain's most ambitious "fringe" opera company, give a performance of Benjamin Britten's epic and thought-provoking "War Requiem". Ben Woodward conducts a massed choir comprising members of many of the south of England's choral societies, a huge orchestra, fixed and managed by Alison Holford, alongside Philippa Boyle (soprano), Andrew Tortise (tenor) and Felix Kemp (baritone).
This is another offering honouring 50 years since the death of Benjamin Britten in 1976. This will be an evening not to forget!
