On Sunday 4th October, Regents Opera, Britain's most ambitious "fringe" opera company, give a performance of Benjamin Britten's epic and thought-provoking "War Requiem". Ben Woodward conducts a massed choir comprising members of many of the south of England's choral societies, a huge orchestra, fixed and managed by Alison Holford, alongside Philippa Boyle (soprano), Andrew Tortise (tenor) and N/N (baritone).
This is another offering honouring 50 years since the death of Benjamin Britten in 1976. This will be an evening not to forget!
