Covering the breadth of human emotion and experience, Messiah tells the story of Christ from birth to death to resurrection. Soloists narrate the drama while the choir guides the audience through the highs and lows of the story, from the anticipation of And the Glory of the Lord, to the solemn stillness of Behold the Lamb of God, before the triumphant joy of the ever-sparkling Hallelujah Chorus.
Now celebrating over 112 years as a beacon of choral music-making in South London, Croydon Philharmonic Choir is ushering in a new chapter this season under newly appointed Music Director Andrew Moore. This festive matinee performance sees Croydon Philharmonic Choir join forces with four soloists, the London Mozart Players, and the Bromley Adult Choir.
