Charles Rice returned to English National Opera as Marcello in La Boheme in the 21/22 season followed by Demetrius A Midsummer Night’s Dream in a new Laurent Pelly production at the Opera de Lille.

Charles studied with Mark Wildman at the Royal Academy of Music and the National Opera Studio.

Engagements in the 20/21 season have included Oreste Iphigenie en Tauride for the Opéra de Nantes, Rennes and Angers where he appeared last year in the title role of Thomas’ Hamlet, as well as his role debut as Don Giovanni for the Opéra de Avignon.
