Windrush: Portrait of a Generation tells the story of how the first generation of Caribbean migrants, now in their late 60s to 90s, are living their lives in the hear of south London and remaining true to their distinctive traditions and culture.
A year in the making, timed to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the arrival of SS Windrush, this exhibition was first staged in the OXO Gallery on London’s South Bank in the summer of 2018 where it attracted 13,000 visitors and national media coverage.
Created by award-winning social documentary photographer Jim Grover in clubs, homes, churches, cemeteries and memorials around Clapham, Brixton, and Stockwell, this important exhibition tells the fascinating personal stories of this truly inspiring generation.
The exhibition will be restaged in the Arnhem Foyer from Thursday 19 September 2019 – Sunday 12 January 2020.

|Sunday - 12th January||8:00 PM|
