About

A relaxed and fun workshop group designed to appeal to beginners and experienced singers alike. Music includes pop, classical, jazz, rock, easy listening and much more and determined by the group for the group.

Everyone welcome – no audition. Sight singing and reading music are NOT a requirement for this session. Leave early if you need to get back to work, caring, family etc. Enthusiasm and ‘have a go’ attitude a MUST!

Warm up and technique included with Vocal Coach / Director – Verona Chard and Musical Director – Chris Neill.

 

About Verona Chard

Verona Chard L.R.A.M, Dip RAM – Singer, Actor, Producer, Lyricist, Agent, Event Manager – Singing tutor at: The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama; Brighton Institute of Contemporary Theatre Training (HoD); London Studio Centre – Summer Programme. Visiting tutor at the Art’s Educational School, London School of Musical Theatre and Stagecoach.

Verona coaches and advises singers, actors, production companies and corporate institutions. In 2017 she was employed as Singing Coach and session singer on Age Before Beauty a BBC Drama production and in 2012 on X Factor, Poland – Judges Expert with Tatiana Okupnik (and they won!)

Verona loves singing jazz and produces a series called Jazz In A Broad Way. Her band STReampunkJazz3 is a Classical / Jazz / Steam Punk fusion band exploring unique soundscapes based on originals, classical and standards melodies.

Her Musical Balloon Band will also perform regular family shows at Fairfield Halls.
