We are very pleased to welcome to Fairfield Halls the Symphony Orchestra of India. They will be conducted by Richard Farnes in a performance that includes Williams - Imperial March from Star Wars and Khachaturian’s thrilling 'Violin Concerto', performed by Marat Bisengaliev. The concert will end with a performance of Tchaikovsky’s most popular symphony, his 'Symphony No. 6', known as the 'Pathetique', the premiere of which Tchaikovsky conducted himself a fortnight before his death.
